you are trying to prove with your PowerPoint presentation.
The relevance of the sources
that you choose to use in your presentation.

Presentation:
In your PowerPoint
presentation, identify the event, people or idea that you have selected to
explain and the 5 historical thinking skills you will apply to analyze the
topic.

Include your thesis
statement based on the topic.

Slides should contain the
major points that you want to make and include illustrations that enhance
the points.

The presentation should be
organized either thematically or chronologically.
Use the slides to explain
the topic and how the information you have presented addresses your
thesis statement.
Make sure the information in
one slide connects to the next slide.
In other words, explain the transition from one point to the next.
Make sure you use detail and
explain who, what, where, when, why and how.
At the least, the last 5
slides should include the five historical thinking skills that you have
chosen.

You must address the
questions that go with each skills by using information from your topic.

Some repetition between the
explanation of the topic and the historical thinking skills is expected.

Use the notes part of the
PowerPoint to add extra explanation so that you do not crowd the slide
with text.

The information on the Notes
Page will allow you to explain the importance of the information and the
connections between the slides, topic and disciplines.
Use the Notes Page to write
information that you would include in a paper.
