The written paper should be an analysis of the statistics in a peer-reviewed research article and utilize proper APA formatting. Students should use the UC Library to find a peer-reviewed research article on a topic of the student’s interest. Within the paper, the student should explain the nature, purpose, and types of statistics used by the researchers within their article. This should include but is not limited to, determining the research question (hypotheses), research variables (dependent variable, independent variable, co-varients, etc..), data collection method, and statistical tests used. Explain the nature, purpose, and types of statistics used to analyze the data presented within the research article. Be sure to determine the research question, problem statement, purpose statement, research variable, data collection method, and statistical tests the researchers used within the article.
