Write a draft of the Drama Paper. Choose three speeches by Hamlet and review their performance in Hamlet 360: Thy Father’s Spirit. Discuss each speech in at least one paragraph, making sure to quote the original play in your discussions using MLA in-text citations and a concluding works cited list.
Explain what is happening in each speech (what Hamlet is feeling or talking about). Then, note how the actor performing Hamlet uses the VR stage to perform the scene, handles props, moves around, and how he lends emotion, significance and realism to the speeches using facial gestures, bodily movements, etc. In your essay, make sure to give an overall review of the VR Performance (identify its name and creator in the introduction), and how well you felt that it brought Shakespeare’s original play to life. Make sure to discuss the VR technology as well, and what it was like to experience the play in this way.
Your response should constitute a short draft of the Drama Paper (thesis statement + 3 body paragraphs) totaling a minimum of 500 words.
