4. Advertisements that objectify men have increased in recent years. Do you think the objectification of men in advertisements affects how men feel about their own bodies? Explain your view.
5. Think about whether or not there has been change in our culture since this film was produced in 2010. Do you feel that the culture is opening up, that it has started to embrace more willingly women and girls that go against the stereotypical feminine type? What about men who go against the stereotypical masculine type? If so, why do you think this is happening? If not, why not? Be specific in supporting your view.
GRADING CRITERIA: Papers will be graded on SOCIOLOGICAL content as well as correct grammar and spelling. Points will be deducted for spelling and grammatical mistakes. Your answers should reflect that you watched the film. Use specific examples from the film. Your answers should demonstrate your ability to sociologically analyze the film. Each answer should be one paragraph minimum.
