If you completed Scholarly Argument 1 (RES 7105), you may use the topic you worked on during the course and the research question you identified in Week Six of the course for this assignment (see the Week One Overview for more information).
Explain why this topic is of interest to you personally and professionally. Then, explain how you synthesized your research question from your topic of interest.

Respond to the initial posts of at least two of your classmates. Comment on each classmate’s topic of interest and research question. Compare your own reasons for wanting to answer your proposed research question to the reasons your classmate offered for studying his or her own research question.
