As advances in medicine are made, many question the ethics behind the science. Stem-cell research, administration of vaccines, and the upcoming technology of 3-D printing of human organs all have their own pros and cons. Do these these “marvels of medicine” belong in the medical field?
Looking back to Chapter 3, you remember that it touched on the subject of Bio-ethics, therefore for this discussion I’d like you to research a bio ethical topic our society is currently facing. Offer both points of view on the topic chosen pros and cons. Explain why there is an ethical outcry. Please refrain from your personal opinion on the topic. Only looking for the facts concerning why there is an ethical debate.
