Four Most Significant Occurrences; subjects to choose
from are:
Reconstruction, Industrialization, Imperialism,
Progressivism, WW1, Great Depression, Rise of Dictatorships & Communism,
WW2, Cold War, Civil Rights Era.
Pick FOUR occurrences that fundamentally changed
the course of American history. (eg: Lincoln’s 10% plan; Plessy
vs Fergusson, any other landmark cases, Sinking of Merchant ships by Germany
during WW1, USS Maine, Westward expansion, Stock Market Crash of 1929, FDR’s
New Deal Programs, Bombing of Hiroshima – August 6, 1945; etc.)
You may make a Power Point, Prezi or perform in class (skit)
that introduces your choices and explains why they are significant. (details
for pwpt and video in next page)
For each historical event, complete the
following 5 tasks, 1 task per slide = 5 slides for each date you select that
changed US history. You will do this for all four choices, ie 5 slides x 4 = 20
slides + 1 slide citations = 21 Total Slides at least. You may have a couple of
more slides and that is ok.
Each slide should have at least 6 or more sentences or
bullet points that explain the following:
