Your Module Three Assignment consists of TWO PARTS:
• A 6-to-8-page paper
• A PowerPoint presentation of 5 slides
There is much detail in the classroom regarding this assignment, so please be sure to review the
guidelines and rubric for this assignment.
THE PAPER: As with ALL assignments, YOUR assignment is a scholarly paper, thus must have:
• Title or Cover Page
• An Introduction and a Conclusion
• Citations and References (per APA formatting)
• Headings to guide the reader through your paper. As a suggestion, I would use the
GRADING RUBRIC to create my headings.
• For example, if I were writing this paper, I would use the following headings in my
paper:
o Introduction (think about the PURPOSE of the paper for your introduction)
o Description of Three Healthcare Settings
I would include ONE paragraph (4 to 6 sentences) for EACH setting.
o Strengths and Weaknesses of Each Setting

o Summary of Possible Practice Problems for each Organization
***Hint: Keep in mind that your practice problem MAY reflect the weaknesses of
the organization! Walden University offers THREE TYPES of DNP practice
problems: Staff Education, Quality Assurance Project, OR Clinical Practice
Guideline Change. PLEASE make sure your practice problem fits ONE of the
THREE types. You may wish to review the DNP manuals.
o Why Practice Problems May Be a Focus for a QI Project
