Extinction is often a controversial topic within ABA due to the way it is implemented. It is important that ethical concerns are discussed and considered prior to selecting extinction as the procedure to be used. In this discussion, describe one example where extinction could be suggested and used without ethical concern and one example where extinction could be suggested and then not used due to ethical concerns.
