Your final paper will be an exploration of the topics discussed in class. You are free to come up with your own topic. Loose suggestions:
– A health/environmental justice study of your own community
– Writing a ‘mock’ report for an environmental justice organization
– Photographic Essay – using 10 photos, create a photo montage and write a critical assessment of the meaning of the photos related to topics covered in class.
– Oral histories of members of a community facing environmental injustice and an analysis of their stories in a framework related to topics discussed in class
