Find and research some recent WSJ articles related to ETFs. Jot down some interesting notes, tips, comments, and/or ideas as you read them.
Research two ETFs: the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) and one additional fund of your choice. For each ETF, identify the following: last price, 3-month average volume, 52-week range, total net assets, fund inception date, and fund description/summary.
Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
Find and research some recent WSJ articles related to REITs. Jot down some interesting notes, tips, comments, and/or ideas as you read them.
Research two REITs of your choice (make sure they are not REIT ETFs). For each REIT, identify the following: last price, 3-month average volume, 52-week range, market capitalization, dividend, specific description of what properties the REIT invests in, goals of the REIT (i.e. income, capital appreciation, both, etc.).
