Find a typical breaking news story with a summary lead (5-W lead) from a major print news source such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, The Washington Post, etc.

The article must be at least 8 paragraphs in length or longer. Attach the article to your answers. Answer the following questions.
1. What is the story about? Just give an overall description without getting into specifics.
2. Identify headline, byline and deck (your text calls this a summary blurb)
3. Does your story have a dateline and if so, what is it? If not, why not?
4. How many of the five Ws are addressed in the lead and what are they?
5. Identify all sources of information
6. Are there any anonymous sources?
7. Choose and identify a direct quote, an indirect quote and a partial quote.
8. Identify the attributions. Where are they placed in relation to the quoted material? (at the end, after the first sentence, etc.
9. Is there a biocredit? Where is it? (a biocredit gives a brief description of the author’s background)
