GE ALO 2 Examine how creative works of human expression outside the United States have influenced the United States’ cultures.

For this project, you will research BEER and how it is common to many cultures. You will present a history of BEER from an anthropological/historical point of view. For BEER, you will describe traditional uses in the cultures where it is used, including symbolic uses of BEER, historical importance, and any restrictions on the use of BEER. You will also discuss changing uses of BEER in the modern world due to immigration and globalization.

The paper will be a minimum of 4-5 pages in length (1000-1250 words), double-spaced, and must include a list of at least 4 references in APA format. Please follow other writing guidelines as specified in the syllabus. The 4 counted references should be from scholarly sources such as textbooks, library sources, appropriate periodicals (most popular magazines do not qualify, but I’d allow some depending on the quality and your topic), and other sources (websites must be scholarly); if in doubt, ask. In-paper citations should follow the same approved format (APA). All references, whether scholarly or not, must be cited in a list and within the body of the paper.

You must include section headings, for example: History of Food, Symbolism of XXX, Globalization and Change….)
Note: This paper is a research paper and should be written as an objective presentation of the information you have found in researching BEER. Do not include personal opinions or preferences (write in 3rd person only).
