To prepare for the assignment, interview the Executive Director or Development Officer of your selected nonprofit in order to learn about how their fundraising operation may connect with one of the fundraising theories from the readings.
To write the paper, select five of the theories from the Module 3 readings that connect to the practice of your nonprofit (e.g., Systems Theory, Social Exchange Theory, Persuasion Theory, Self-insurance Theory, Warm Glow Theory, Signaling Theory, Impact Philanthropist Theory, and Bekkers/Wiepking Mechanisms of Giving Theories).
The assignment should follow these guidelines; Use correct grammar and proofread for typos. USE APA FORMAT.
Describe five fundraising theories briefly (since we all can read the original articles, use your own words in a brief format).
Connect each theory to the practice of your nonprofit. Describe how they either use or don’t use the theory in practice.
