may also want to explore the ACLU’s website. As you see, there is quite a gender gap within the
criminal justice system – from arrest to disposition and sentencing. In other facets of society, we have
been working hard to close the gender gap. Should we close it here too?
For this forum, please provide your opinion on the gender gap matter by answering the following
questions:
1.Should women be treated more like men when it comes to how they are processed by and through
the criminal justice system, or should men be treated more like women? Explain your position.
2.Should the current system with all its disparities remain in place? Explain your position.
