text-based response to the following questions: What does the story of Aeneas, as
told by Virgil in the Aeneid, indicate about the meaning and significance of the fall
of Troy? How does he link the fall of Troy to the Roman Empire? How does Virgil
glorify the Romans, Augustus, and the Empire, through the story of Aeneas? To
address these questions, you must explain the critical significance of what you
believe are the most important of the critical passages in the Aeneid

Your essay should be double-spaced and typed in any clearly legible 12-point font. The
