Here are guidelines to follow for peer review of the vignette. You do not need to answer each one of these questions one by one, but please consider them when you give your partner feedback.
What does the vignette do well?
Does the vignette have a good “hook?”
Were you able to identify a clear thesis?
Which analytical lens(es) does the vignette employ?
Does the vignette identify a clear and distinct ethical issue?
Is the vignette topic of appropriate scope?
Is it too broad? Too narrow? Too vague? Or just right?
How is the vignette organized?
Did you find it easy to follow?
Did each idea follow logically from the previous one?
Does the vignette offer a compelling solution or path forward?
Does the solution “fit” the problem?
Does it seem plausible?
Who is the primary audience for the vignette?
Does the audience “fit” the proposed solution?
How is the writing (spelling, grammar, word choice)?
Indicate how and where the writing could be improved.
Is there anything else the author could improve?
Do you have any additional sources or ideas to suggest to your partner?
