For Case #3, you are to assume the role and perspective of a professional in your field of study (e.g. clinical research administration, clinical management and leadership, emergency health services management) and through that lens, identify a key area of the Smith and Kidder article to develop. During Week 7, work independently to build out your approach to the case. Supported by at least 3-4 of the best resources that you can find, develop a 2-3 page essay that will be posted to your assigned small group in the Week 8 discussion board. This essay should present an analysis of what you have identified as a key aspect of the case and apply it to your professional role or field. This key aspect does not necessarily have to be a problem– it might relate to a potential benefit, opportunity or innovation afforded by social media. Based on the area that you have identified, develop a recommended plan of action and support it with cited material both from your research and from coursework in your field of study.
