1) View the information in the Power Point: Food Safety
2) Read the Chapter titled: Food Safety
3) Complete the CHAPTER REVIEW: Food Safety
4) On slides #14 and #15 of the Power Point, you will find information for keeping food safe. There is a link for locating the 4 Simple Steps to Food Safety. If you cannot jump to the link using Slide 14 in the Power Point, then copy the address for the the website https://www.foodsafety.gov into your web search and it will show that way.
5) Go to the website https://www.foodsafety.gov and scroll to the bottom for the information on EACH category on the website: Clean, Separate, Cook, Chill and then write a summary paragraph of EACH one, labeling each of them describing what you have learned. Be specific and thorough and remember that a paragraph is never less than 4 or 5 sentences.
6) Upload the Summaries for EACH of the 4 categories into the designated DROP BOX.
REMINDER: Have you been working on your Lesson Plan? The template is in MODULE 11 and you will drop it in MODULE 13.
