homeschool vs in school learning

Do you take a specific position on the issue?
If we announced the thesis statement to 1,000 people, would we get diversified opinions?
Can the issue be answered with a simple yes or no, or are there angles and layers to the issue?
Is the argument logical (enough) and can opinions and beliefs be supported by some facts, expert opinions or data?
Does the thesis statement contain vague, value words such as interesting, better, exciting, unusual, and difficult? If so, consider revising for clear, specific, concrete wording.
Has the argument been discussed ad nauseam until no more assertions can be made? (For example, most of us are aware of main abortion arguments, and another abortion argument paper would really just bat around previously discussed viewpoints.)
