to determine the processes, procedures, and skills required to complete a
particular task. A primary goal is to identify the needs of adult
learners when designing professional development or training programs.
Consider a professional development or training program you
recently completed in the workplace without conducting a task analysis.
If possible, choose one associated with student learning outcomes or
program outcomes. Reconsider the task, and use the steps in the Module 7
presentation, Part 1, to conduct a task analysis of the same task.
