How did the experience of completing the clinical trials project help you connect what you learned in your major to clinical applications and clinical practice?

The purpose of this assignment is to assist you with recognizing the application and value of core health sciences content in the health sciences curriculum by exploring the field of clinical research. Clinical trials represent the highest level of research used to find solutions, treatment and/or interventions for human diseases.

1/ How did the experience of completing the clinical trials project help you connect what you learned in your major to clinical applications and clinical practice? As you answer this question discuss how what you have learned in previous Health Sciences courses at UCF (e.g. pathophysiology, pharmacology, nutrition and others) helped to complete this project and how it has helped you to connect what you learned to recent advances in clinical practice.
