Decide upon a clear purpose for your essay before you start writing and include a thesis sentence in the introduction paragraph. Be sure to include a heading (which includes name, date, class, instructor in the top left corner of your paper), 1-inch margins, use double space, paragraphs indented, pages numbered, include a title for your essay. You can use first-person pronoun “I,” but do not use second-person pronoun “you.” The paper should be at least 500 words; include an introduction, 3-body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
