How does the text convey doctrine? In other words, how does it answer the question, “What should I believe?”

Choose one of the primary source readings you have been assigned (pick from file attached) and reflect on the connection between the mythological dimension of religion (of which it is an example) and either the doctrinal dimension or the ethical dimension in the tradition from which the primary text comes. You only have four pages, so please focus your reflection quickly.
Some questions you might consider are:
How does the text convey doctrine? In other words, how does it answer the question, “What should I believe?”
What does the author of the text understand the effects or the consequences of right belief to be?
What ethical principles do you see made explicit in the primary text? How are they introduced?
How does the author of the text envision the good life? What are the benefits of living that life?
Please support your argument with evidence from the primary text. You do NOT need to include citations for material drawn from the primary text.
