There are two parts to this assignment.

Part 1 — Doing Research
Get your topic approved in an email before doing the following. I want to see what your topic is and what your stance on it will be.
Using your cleared topic as your index subject, I want you to perform the following tasks. (If an index has nothing on your topic, indicate so and then just list something else you find there.)

1) Put your subject/opinion on it here –>

Use this Link to the Kirkwood Library –> http://guides.kirkwood.edu/dl

2) Search in CQreseacher for your topic. Describe what you find there. Any useful background data?
What might they contribute to your essay?

Look into the Opposing Viewpoints in Context index — list 3 articles relevant you find there. This an actual index.

3) Look in World Cat for articles and books. List three articles and 3 books you find on your subject (if there are none, list three books of other sorts).
Pick another library from the Local Libraries tab and search it for books. Indicate which library you looked into and list three books of relevance you find there.
What might these titles contribute to your essay?

4) Look in Academic Search Elite. List three articles found there relevant to your subject.
What might these contribute to your essay?

Look in Academic OneFile. List three articles relevant to your subject.
