Team Project on Current Supply Chain Event – Pick a current supply chain issue in the news or one that you’ve experienced. Summarize each of the 5 issues into a single slide (total slides = 5 plus introduction). Slides should “stand on their own” – meaning that if you don’t get a chance to present, the reader will understand your presentation. Use of “slide notes are permitted). Grade will be based on clarity and how well you apply course concepts to the following discussion points:
1. High level Map the supply network and identify the interdependencies.
2. What caused the supply chain to break?
3. Description of how the Bull Whip has played out relative to the supply chain disruption. Is the concept relevant to the problem you identified?
4. How has the disruption played out relative to Prof Yoshi’s model of detection, stabilization and recovery? What stage is the disruption in now?
5. If you were in charge and knew what you know today, what risk mitigation activities would your team take after this issue has been resolved? … Be prepared to justify to your CFO.
