Identify 10 municipal/local, state, or federal government grant programs.

Students will work in assigned groups of 4–6 to gather the following grant resources, combine them into a single document converted to portable document format (PDF), and submit via Blackboard. Since this is a resource guide, specific APA formatting is not required, except for an APA 7thedition formatted cover page. Additionally, where possible students are asked to follow APA 7th edition conventions. These resources must be relevant to public/community health.

1. Identify 10 charitable foundations (operating foundations excluded). List their names, location, and contact information. For each foundation prepare one or two summary paragraphs (100–150 words for each foundation) indicating the type of foundation (e.g. community, corporate, family, etc.), their giving scope and categories, their funding cycles, and two examples of programs they have funded.

2. Identify 5 corporate giving programs. These are to be distinguished from corporate foundations. For each corporate giving program prepare one or two summary paragraphs (100–150 words for each corporate giving program) indicating the scope and categories in which they give, their funding cycles, and two examples of programs they have funded.

3. Identify 10 municipal/local, state, or federal government grant programs. For each government grant program prepare one or two summary paragraphs (100–150 words for each public funding program ) indicating the scope and categories, their funding cycles, and two examples of programs they have funded.
