Identify a notable/historical researcher, author or consultant in the field of management theory and practices for the Historical Management Theorist Handout assignment . Prior to starting to work on this author, submit the name of the person you plan to profile directly by email to the instructor. The instructor will ensure that a wide range of these historical figures are assigned, so you may not be assigned your first choice. Each student will be responsible for researching and preparing a handout (using Microsoft Word) for their classmates on an important figure from management history, explaining what the person’s contribution was to the study of management and the relevance of their theory or contribution today. Those historic figures include Fredrick Taylor, Henri Fayol, Mary Parker Follett, Max Weber, Peter Drucker, W. Edwards Deming, Henry Mintzberg, Jim Collins, etc. Information may be presented as bullet-point summaries of your research. (I chose Mary Parker Follet)

Grading of the assignment will be as noted across the three points below:

Explain how that person contributed to the study of management over time. (Specifically, how did those ideas influence other theorists)? (40%)
