Identify a nursing research topic that you are interested in. Make sure it is a nursing topic and not a topic from another discipline such as medicine. Post the topic to the discussion board by Saturday. Explain why you are interested in that topic? (Hint- look at the topics in your nursing course syllabi for ideas- browse through some nursing journals- or ask a nurse when you are in clinical for suggestions of practice issues or concerns.

Search the CINHAL database for a nursing research study related to your topic of interest. Post an APA reference for that article on the discussion board. How did you identify the article as a research study? Is it a quantitative or a qualitative research study? How did you determine this?

Post reflective and constructive comments to at least two of your classmates’ postings. Can you identify additional terms that may help them with their topic? Can you identify additional ideas for their literature review? Is it a nursing research topic?
