– Identify a specific problem in your community, your school, your extracurricular programs, an area of interest, etc. Explain how that issue came to be, how it impacts the lives of people in your community, school, etc., and propose a solution. Detail why your solution is the proper one by logically dictating how it addresses the issue feasibly. Develop an arguable thesis and be sure to acknowledge and refute any possible counterarguments.
As always, the essay should meet the essay requirements dictated in the syllabus (3-5 pages, works cited, etc.).
