Select one of the case
studies/role plays provided on Blackboard that is of particular interest
to you. View the role play video of your choosing and discuss the
selected case study and respond to the following questions. I am
looking for detailed responses for each question, displaying a gh level
of reflection and awareness with connections made to the concepts
discussed in this course. This paper should be 4-6 pages long, typed,
and in APA format if using citations.

1. Identify and briefly summarize the case you have selected. What is the client’s presenting issue?

2. Discuss the
practitioner/helper’s approach with the client, commenting on their
communication style and use of the counselling micro-skills.

3. Identify any ethical issues
raised in the case. Was the practitioner acting ethically? What ethical
codes are being crossed or violated? Be specific.

4. How might you approach this
scenario if you were the practitioner? What information would you need
from the client to assist them in moving forward? What questions might
you ask and how would you ask them?

5. How comfortable would you
be as the practitioner in this scenario? Do you have any concerns that
you would need to address to work effectively in this scenario?

Please note: It may be helpful
to review the 6 basic moral principles, the ethical decision making
model, and check in with ethical code standards when processing the case
study/role play.
