Q1)
Performance Monitor
Post a minimum of two (2) responses to other learners in the course. Responding in full paragraphs:
Always construct your response in a word processing program like Word. Check for grammar, spelling, and mechanical errors. Make the corrections and save the file to your computer.
Find the posts that you are going to reply to.
Submit your peer responses.
1. Case scenario 1: Explain the reasons why you agree or disagree with the original post on Performance Monitor.
********There are numerous available third-party performance monitor options, each with unique benefits and drawbacks. Nagios, Zabbix, and Cacti are a few of the more well-liked third-party solutions.
Popular open source monitoring software is called Nagios. It can be used to keep an eye on servers, networking hardware, and software. Nagios is incredibly adaptable and can be tailored to suit organization’s needs.
Q2)
********Is the AIDA64 Extreme a single PC only solution geared towards gaming performance? I notice they have a network audit and business version that provides other features, but they do not seem as useful in a cloud or Azure type environment, or am I misinterpreting that functionality? I have heard of the Paessler PRTG Network Monitor, and it seems to be a fairly extensible product, have you ever used it or seen it in use before? I am wondering why use that over a free version of Nagios, but they do offer the Enterprise and Hosted options that fit different size organizations. I guess it really depends on what the end goal might be as to what product you start with and where it might lead.
Q3)
1. Provide at least two questions that you would like to ask the original authors and explain why you are asking those questions.
2. Explain at least one way that you agree with the original posts.
3. Explain at least one way that you would disagree with or add to the original posts.
********The system developmental life cycle is important because it outlines all of the required steps to ensure framework integrity, and optimal operation of system software that captures the scope of the developers as well as clients. Data modeling identifies the informative needs of a system (Mallikaarachchi). The outputs created by data modeling help users synthesize the application they are interacting with as well as helps developers identify the foundation of needs that the system needs to conform to.
Q4)
********System Development Life Cycle is the process of stages encompassing the creation and development of a new computer-based system. The phases of this process are Planning, Systems Analysis and Requirements, Systems Design, Development, Integration and Testing, Implementation, and Operations and Maintenance. Different models can be used, such as the Waterfall SDLC model and the Agile model. Better management control over the entire development project makes System Development Life Cycle or SDLC so important. (6B DIGITAL, 2022)
