In writing, act as though you are the reader and ask yourself the following question: What are QSEN competencies, and answer – I do not know and hope the writer will tell me. As the reader who also has the assigned articles, I do not need the writers to read-only selected areas of the articles and re-write them on a page. I want the writer to explain to me as a patient would want to understand what the authors are saying about these competencies as they relate to nursing practice while caring for a patient. I want the writer to give credit to the source by inserting the in-text citation where it belongs.
