Identify and explain what you think the core value of higher education in the United States should be (it doesn’t have to be the only one, but pick one to write about). Write a 5-6 page paper (1200-1500 words) defending that value and assessing its place in the history of US higher education. Why should higher education serve this value? Have US colleges and universities historically put it into practice? Successfully or unsuccessfully? How has its implementation changed over time? Where does it stand in colleges and universities today?
– I would like the paper to be writtne about how college/higher education’s core value should be focusing less on general education and more about providing students with educations about actual job skills, real world skills (taxs, etc), and should focus less on memorization but actually on learning about topics that matter. it should also allow students to learn different fields becuase no one is suppose to just know what they want to do. this is loosly what i want the answer to this question to be. please look at the attached document to see the full prompt and the rubic provided.
