Below is the instructions for your presentation. My comments are in caps.
The presentation should showcase your proposed marketing project plan and the integrated advertising campaign and should:
Summarize the need for your new hospital program in your community.
Identify key data points you collected that support the need of the new program. THIS WAS FROM WEEK 2 WHERE YOU IDENTIFIED THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY AND DETERMINED WHICH PROPOSAL IS THE BEST FIT.
Identify the chosen marketing strategy for your new program. THIS IS THE 4p STRATEGY FROM WEEK 3 NOTES
Define your targeted audience based on your market segmentation in previous assignments. WHO IS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE? YOU IDENTIFIED THEM IN WEEK 2 AND 3.
Include your specific message(s) you will use in your integrated advertising campaign. WHAT WILL YOUR SLOGAN BE? WHAT MAKES IT RELEVANT TO YOUR TARGET MARKET? EXAMPLES WERE GIVEN IN YOUR ASSIGNMENT ABOUT THE FLU SHOT. REMEMBER THAT YOU MESSAGE WILL TIE IN WITH YOUR PROMOTIONAL STRATEGY (DEFINED IN WEEK 3).
Identify the tasks and their order of importance needed to implement your marketing project plan. YOU ARE READY TO START YOUR CAMPAIGN. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU WILL NEED TO DO? WHAT ARE THE REMAINING THINGS YOU NEED TO DO? FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU ARE ADVERTISING ON A BROCHURE, YOU WILL NEED TO HIRE A COMPANY TO PRINT THE BROCHURE AFTER YOU DESIGN IT. WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE BROCHURES? WHAT ARE YOUR OTHER WAYS TO ADVERTISE AND HOW WILL YOU ACCOMPLISH?
Explain when and how you will evaluate your marketing project plan.
Identify a projected timeline of evaluation. YOU MUST EVALUATE ALONG THE WAY. DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOU FINISH THE CAMPAIGN TO FIND OUT YOU YOU SPENT A LOT OF MONEY WITH NO RESULTS. PROVIDE SOMETHING LIKE A GANTT CHART FOR YOUR TIMELINE OF YOUR TASKS.
Identify tools you will use to evaluate your plan. REMEMBER YOU ARE EVALUATING AT SPECIFIC POINTS IN TIME. A SURVEY WOULD NOT WORK OUT WELL BECAUSE BY THE TIME YOU COLLATE THE RESPONSES, YOUR PROJECT HAS ADVANCED GREATLY.
Identify resources and data that will be used to determine success in your marketing project plan and new program. RESOURCES ARE TIME (YOUR TIMELINE), MONEY AND PEOPLE (WHAT TYPES OF PEOPLE DO YOU NEED? DO YOU NEED TO HIRE? DO THEY NEED TO BE CERTIFIED?). SOMETIMES TECHNOLOGY PLAYS A PART AS WELL.
Based on anticipated changes in the future, discuss how health care marketing strategies can change.
Consider external influences that may guide strategy changes.
EXTERNAL INFLUENCES ARE THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN. FOR EXAMPLE, IF I WERE TO OPEN A GAS STATION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT, THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN ARE I COULD POSSIBLY NOT GET THE GAS BROUGHT OUT TO MY LOCATION, I COULD HAVE A MAJOR HIGHWAY WHICH DIVERTS ALL TRAFFIC, I COULD HAVE A VERY HIGH TAX TO PAY AND NOT MAKE A PROFIT, ETC.
As the marketing project manager, you are ready to present your marketing project plan and marketing campaign to your supervisor.
Use your work from the assignments in Weeks 2 through 4 to create a 10- to 15-slide voice-over presentation using either Microsoft® PowerPoint® or websites like Google Slides™, Adobe® Slate, or Prezi.
