According to the book: Make It Stick: The Science of Successful
Learning; A structure holds the central ideas of a topic together. In
political science a structure modifies human behavior. The paper asks
that you identify the central ideas of the reading assigned and create
an argument (premise, evidence, and conclusion) on how these essays
have modified our behavior today. Your assignment is to create a
coherent essay on your understanding of the structure of our
government. The requirement of the paper is five pages double spaced
and standard college format. The paper must include references to the
essays assigned for every unit. Please do not directly quote the
essays and do not use outside sources. No bibliography, title page, or
formal footnotes are required. When referring to the essay you only
need to footnote the title and author of the essay. (For example: The
U.S. Constitution Article I section 7.) There is a rubric in the
module section of the canvas environment which can assist the student
in the writing of the paper.
