recently experienced a disaster.
Recently, a new mayor came into office. Although he is eager
to learn, he knows little about emergency management operations. The mayor has
asked you to develop a press release that outline and describes the NIMS
command and management system that was used for the disaster. Be sure to
address the following issues in the presentation:
Overview
of the incident;
Incident
command;
Various
staff functions and roles in the incident;
Mutual
support; and
The
effectiveness and importance of using these systems.
