Select one of the reform movements from the list below and write a 5-8 page essay that includes the following information:
1. Give a general description of the movement.
2. Goals of the movement.
3. Discuss at least 2 people who had an impact on the movement.
4. What were the accomplishments/impacts of the movement and the individuals selected.
Guidelines for the Assignment:
1. The essay should be 5-8 word-processed, double-spaced pages in 12-point Times New Roman or Ariel font
2. You must use at least 8 academic sources (your textbook, Sparknotes, Prezi, Wikipedia, Courshero.com, History.com, etc… can NOT be used as sources). At least one of the sources must be a Primary Source Document.
3. You must use in-text citations. In addition to a work cited page or bibliography at the end of your paper, you must correctly cite (MLA format) any sources you use inside your paper. Failure to do this will result in halfof the overall grade for the assignment being deducted.
The final paper is due toward the end of the course and needs to be at least 5-8 pages long not including
the Works cited page. It needs to be in 12-point font, either Arial or Times New Roman. It needs to be
double-spaced. It must be completed using Microsoft Word or Google Docs. It must be completed using
MLA format. The paper MUST have in-text citations to tie the information in the paper to the Works
Cited page. Without in-text citations, half the points will be deducted from the paper.
Please use books, e-books, book reviews, and academic articles from VC library databases (JSTOR,
Academic Search Complete) and reputable websites (National World War II Museum, National Baseball
Hall of Fame, etc.). Do not use Wikipedia, your textbook, history.com, historyanswers.com, or any other
suspect websites, blogs,s or wiki pages.
Instructions for the paper are found in the module labeled FINAL PAPER. It is worth 100 points.
