impacts of climate change specifically on the biosphere

This assignment requires you to do some research on impacts of climate change specifically on the biosphere–this could be on vegetation or animals (including the human animal!) and write a summary of your research. I recommend using any of the websites below to begin your research:

IMPORTANT: You may not choose an article that another student has already written about. Therefore you must look at the discussion posts that are already submitted BEFORE you choose your topic.
Okay, here are the detailed instructions:
Choose a specific article from your search results to read about and summarize to the class in your discussion posting. IMPORTANT: you cannot choose an item or article that has already been reported on by another student. This means you must check the discussion postings ahead of you (already submitted) before you report on that article.
Your summary must be in your own words. If your summary is plagiarized you will receive zero on the assignment. You may quote from the article using quotation marks. The summary must be a minimum of 400 words and you must include the title and url address of the article at the top of your summary. This is crucial so that other students can easily see the item/article you have chosen and not choose the same one. Please check out the assignment rubric for details.
When you create a thread for your discussion posting, put the title of your topic and url at the top of your postingso that other students can easily see the item/article you have chosen and not choose the same one. You must include the url/web address of your article at the top of your post.
You must include two sentences about how your article relates to information in the module or chapter readings on climate change and/or the biosphere. (-2 points if you do not relate to text reading in your summary).
Include an image from the article in your posting (sometimes there is more than one image in an article so you may choose to include a couple). If you need help with this please contact the CTC for assistance. If you do not insert the image into your posting so that we can see it as we are reading your summary, 2 points will be deducted (no image attachment or separate link to click–image must appear directly in your post). And you must include a description of what you image is about.
Comment on at least one other students’ post to earn your 5 commenting points. 5 sentences = 5 points
