In addition to your infographic, you will write a three-page (minimum) reflection paper that shares how you approached the assignment. Do not just write about the data in your infographic. You’ll include your feelings about the following questions outlined in the following two categories:
Infographic Design
What was the misconception you wanted to address? How does your infographic help a viewer rethink their misconception?
How do you think your infographic “shows” rather than just “tells” information to the viewer?
What decisions did you make to create your information easier to read and interpret?
What did this project teach you about data visualization, research, and/or infographics.
Project Reflection
Did any skills, knowledge, or tools from previous experiences (classes, work experience, or just life in general) help prepare you for this projects. How could you use the new skills you acquired in the future, in a professional setting?
What was the most satisfying aspect of this project?
What was your biggest challenge creating the infographic? What did you do to overcome the challenge? If faced with a similar challenge in the future, in a professional setting, do you anticipate using any skills you learned to help you?
Overall, did the assignment contribute to your overall educational preparedness? How, or how not?
