I need a 2000 opinion piece on how Hollywood’s tyranny of beauty is destorying the versimilitude of cinema. Basically, a lot of people are really ugly, but we never see ugly actresses anymore. Think about the Wicked Witch- Margaret Hamilton was incrediby ugly, but it was part of what made her a great actress. Actresses are all too beautiful now, it’s not like real life.
