The paper will focus on the Automobile Manufacturing Industry, as a whole. Please do not give me a paper about Ford, or Toyota, etc. The paper will be an expository research essay and will contain a thorough and rigorous analysis of the actual and/or potential use of BUSINESS ANALYTICS and Data-Driven decision support systems in the Auto Industry. The paper will discuss the status quo, identify critical issues and opportunities, present a gap analysis, discuss strategic alignment, identify and assess alternatives (if Applicable), and articulate recommendations.
IMPERATIVE: The paper must contain a non-trivial and in-depth analysis of the challenges and opportunities that the auto industry faces as it gears up to surf the wave of big data.
