1. An introductory paragraph in telling an interesting historical anecdote about your technology. You don’t have to delve right into the nitty, gritty aspects of its origin right away but consider how some of the writers we’ve read have told a specific story about an interesting figure associated with the technology or an especially noteworthy event that connects to the tech’s overall story.
2. Do a free write that explores a theme related to your technology. Some examples might include privacy, cleanliness, efficiency, health, gender roles, and taming nature.
