**To cite textual evidence from the novel, and use the author’s last name and the page numbers provided either in your real copy of the book OR the page numbers provided in our DIGITAL copy of the book. Either way a parenthetical citation would look like this (Fitzgerald 144) or (Fitzgerald 6), etc.

To cite the VIDEO, refer to the to the TITLE of “A Psychoanalysis of Jay Gatsby” simply as PSYCHOANALYSIS. Since there are no page numbers, refer to the minutes and seconds in the video where you found your information. So a parenthetical citation would look like this (PSYCHOANALYSIS 3:31) or (PSYCHOANALYSIS 5:30), etc.
