Individual case study report worth 70% of total mark

-Case study- Compile a report of 2800 words that evaluates the impact of specific fabrics on a range of garments.
You need to choose a High street retailer, and clothing product range on which to base your work, and then choose & discuss the fabrics. You need to assess 4 garments
( you may want to order the garments to follow a ‘virtual sealing process’ and then return them to the shop)
use a fitting model, who is the age profile for the brand.
– You need to deliver a series of recommendations that could help the retailer and assure the quality of the products.
You should also include all relevant paperwork related to these products and planned test reports.
( you do not have to carry out the fabric tests- just detail what you would ask for and any concerns)
This should include size charts for initial sample,and the graded sizes. You can use the examples given or extend your ICT skills using Excel & Illustrator , but no hand drawn sketches, they must be scanned and able to be e-mailed.
Remember you are not just finding faults, you are commenting on good practice and what could be done to improve the product even further.
Avoid knitwear and more than one-piece of jersey as sizing and alterations are more limited for these products.
Photos, diagrams and sketches in appropriate format to communicate your ideas will add to this report.
– The report must be typed, double spaced, submitted via Turn it in.
– Images and photographs to support the work and reference these.
– Each page must be numbered and you must include a word count.
All research and sources must be referenced and report must be written in a formal business report style.
