2) There are two web links that will share more about the subject
3) Follow the instructions to open the webinar that discusses Attachment in the Classroom and then complete the Discussion Forum based on this webinar.

Based off of the Webinar you viewed, “Attachment in the Classroom: How Trusting Early Experiences Shape Brain Development”, please answer the following three questions.
Explain the importance of non-verbal messages to attachment practices in your own words.Include in your answer what components of non-verbal messages are the most important for teachers and parents to use.
In the first year of life, how does brain development differ when children are given “good care” versus “poor care”? How does this affect the children’s long-term ability to learn and self-regulate?
To paraphrase Dr. Baylin, he states that one of the goals for the teacher/child relationship is to hep the child feel safe enough to shift from mistrust to safety conducive to learning. Explain three of the strategies for trust building in school/care that most stood out to you and that you would like to put into practice in your classroom.
