Integrative Personal Narrative

Your Integrative Personal Narrative is a three full page to four page, 1100 word minimum, double-spaced, narrative essay (in Times New Roman 12 pt font) that presents your life as you would to a future employer or to a graduate school. It should discuss how specific people, life-experiences, interests, and organizations have shaped your life, your identity and your goals, to make you the person you are today. In your narrative, you should integrate diverse aspects of your life, including:
Family, friends, and environment
Life-experiences, personal history, work, and interests (hobbies, sports, travel, etc.)
Organizations, educational institutions, mentors, teachers, coaches
Please do not include material of an overly private, sexual or criminal nature. The goal here is to present yourself in a unique way that would tell an employer or graduate school who you are as a unique person. Narratives should be three full pages to four pages, a minimum of 1100 words, double-spaced, in 12 pt font in Times New Roman, with 1 inch margins
