Intercultural Identities and Americanness

Module instruction:
Watch/listen to one of the following videos below and write a short review connecting to key ideas/concepts below:

a. What these audio-visual examples talk to you about culture, identity, and power in the U.S.? What do you see and hear?
b. What are emerging themes or ideas from these visuals and audios? How do you define U.S. American-ness and U.S. American culture and identity?
c. Who are included in/excluded from the idea of Americanness? Why does it matter to understand and determine U.S-American culture?

Submission requirements:
a. The weekly reflection should not be longer than 350 words.
b. Clearly state one or two concepts/theories/discussions/ideas we learned from previous lectures.
c. You also need to include one or two examples as quotes (e.g. memorable scenes from music videos; phrases from podcasts) in the reflection
