Note: An 8-9 page typed report having a minimum word count of 3000 words( not including Title page, References, interview table, and Consent Form), of the interview and your reactions have to be turned in. For this assignment, you are to find five relevant empirical journal articles from peer-reviewed journals. You should include a discussion of these relevant articles in the Discussion sections of your interview paper.
The written report should include the following sections and will be worth 50 points:
Introduction-should explain who you choose and why; his/her relationship with you. Also, discuss the relevance of any other socio-demographic variables that may have contributed to their immigration experience. The interviewee should have lived in the U.S. for ten or more years.
Methodology– this includes setting, procedures, etc.; who was present; whether you taped, took notes, etc. Any unusual aspects e.g. their sister joined you halfway through. In other words, anything that might influence your findings.
Findings– content of the interview, i.e. questions and responses (you can do in a question/response format; narrative format). After getting your findings, conduct open ( which will be line-by-line coding), axial( categorizing the open codes), and selective coding( finding higher order overarching themes) of the findings.
This chart is completed and is under the “190p interview table” just copy/paste it onto paper.
Discussion–In your discussion, you will mention the 5-6 higher-order themes with direct quotations from the interviewee in support of each specific theme and their sub-themes. This paper must contain at least 5 references from empirical articles in support of your main themes. These articles must come from peer-reviewed scholarly journals. Do not include Dissertation Abstracts, meta-analyses, theoretical articles. Discuss class readings and/or class lectures and their relevance to your findings in this interview.
I did a bit of an outline that will help. Please refer to the interview table to help with this part.
For each theme there must be one to two direct quotes from the interview.
At least one source (article) for each theme.

Work Cited Page- Cite references as per the APA format.
