This is about Procrastination
The assignment is only one page attached on here
For this lab, you will learn how to prepare your spreadsheet and analyze data. Worksheet can be downloaded here: Lab Activity #7 – Frequency Project Data Analysis and you can scroll down to view the video explaining how to do it all. It’s a long video, but it’s worth it! This is not something you can attempt to do without instruction unless you already have Excel/Sheets/JASP experience, and understand reverse scoring of items.
If you need to use JASP in your browser, you can watch the tutorial video How to use JASP in your browser. I’ve also created a very brief quick guide: Getting your data ready for JASP.docx Note: This is not a substitute for watching the video, it is more like a reminder of the main steps.
The assignment is based on the following: Lab #6: Frequency Project Brainstorm & Design
Procrastination: Is the tendency of delaying or putting off work that should be completed to achieve a given goal, like playing music instead of handling a complex math assignment.
We can operationally define procrastination as whatever lies in the psychological study’s goal attainment. Individuals must have the ability and motivation to perform necessary actions to satisfy a certain goal. According to Yeckehzaare et al., (2020), procrastination emerges a more salient concept as society becomes more industrialized. Procrastination is relevant in places of high adherence to tasks and industrialized culture.
Yeckehzaare, I., Barghi, T., & Resnick, P. (2020, April). QMaps: Engaging Students in Voluntary Question Generation and Linking. In Proceedings of the 2020 CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (pp. 1-14).
We will operationally define age by calculating the number of complete years elapsed between the date of birth and the time point students are in a college. Sex is operationally a distinction between female, male and other individuals without biological characteristics. Operationally ethnicity can be defined as the psychological identification of a person based on their inner beliefs concerning their relevant attributes.
Procrastination is the habit of avoiding and postponing scheduled activities. The most common dominant issue among students is academic procrastination which deters them from educational activities. This research investigates academic procrastination’s prevalence and how it relates to metacognitive beliefs.

We will collect my data through questionnaires, surveys, and interviews. Office.com is the program that we will use to create my forms. In the upper right pane, we will navigate to the settings on who can fill the forms. We will distribute forms physically to the selected institution using words like investigation, experimentation, groundwork, analysis, and inquiry to describe my advertisement.
Do students procrastinate for fear of failing, or do they do it because of lower self-regulation ability with their academic procrastination?
We will have a specific due date before the final assignment submission date for data collection and writing the paper to ensure the work is complete.
For the next lab, we will talk about how to complete your scoring and data analysis.
